Welcome to AI Compare Guide, a practical resource created to help everyday people, students, professionals, business owners, and creators understand AI tools and make better decisions about which ones are worth using.
I’m Osayamen Okuonghae, the founder and publisher of AI Compare Guide. I regularly use ChatGPT and other AI tools, and I created this website because choosing the right AI tool has become increasingly difficult as the number of available platforms continues to grow.
Why I Created AI Compare Guide
There are now AI tools for almost everything: writing, research, coding, design, productivity, education, business, image generation, video creation, and much more.
The problem is that having more choices does not always make choosing easier. Many websites simply repeat the same features and marketing claims without explaining what a tool is actually useful for, where it falls short, or who should use it.
I created AI Compare Guide to take a more practical approach.
Instead of simply asking, “What can this AI tool do?”, we also ask:
- What is the tool actually useful for?
- How easy is it to use?
- What are its strengths?
- Where does it have limitations?
- Who is likely to benefit from it?
- Who may be better off choosing another tool?
- Does the value justify the cost?
My Experience With AI Tools
I personally use ChatGPT and other AI platforms as part of my work and research. I also test AI tools before writing some of our reviews and comparisons whenever practical.
My experience creating online content and websites over several years has also shaped the way I approach AI Compare Guide. I understand that readers do not necessarily need complicated technical explanations. They need clear information that helps them understand what a tool can do and whether it makes sense for their particular situation.
That is why our content aims to explain AI in straightforward language while still discussing important details, limitations, pricing, features, and practical use cases.
How We Review and Compare AI Tools
AI Compare Guide does not treat an AI company’s marketing claims as proof that a tool is the best option.
Whenever practical, we examine tools through real-world tasks, use cases, features, usability, output quality, limitations, pricing, and overall value. When direct testing is not practical, we make that distinction rather than presenting assumptions as personal testing results.
Our goal is not to declare one AI tool the winner in every situation. Different tools can be better for different people and different tasks.
You can learn more about our approach on our How We Test AI Tools at AI Compare Guide page.
Our Editorial Approach
We aim to provide useful, accurate, and understandable information while recognizing that AI technology changes quickly. Features, pricing, free-plan limits, models, and capabilities can change over time.
For that reason, we review and update information when appropriate rather than assuming that information published months ago will always remain accurate.
Our editorial principles, research approach, corrections process, use of AI during content creation, and affiliate disclosure are explained in our Editorial Policy.
Who AI Compare Guide Is For
AI Compare Guide is designed for people who want practical answers without having to become AI experts first.
Our readers include students looking for useful study and productivity tools, professionals exploring AI for work, business owners looking for ways to improve efficiency, content creators searching for creative tools, and everyday users trying to understand the rapidly changing AI landscape.
Whether you are completely new to AI or already use several AI platforms, our goal is to help you make more informed choices.

Independent Opinions and Affiliate Relationships
AI Compare Guide may participate in affiliate programs, which means we may earn a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase or takes an eligible action through certain links.
However, affiliate relationships are not intended to determine our editorial conclusions. A tool should not be described as the best choice simply because it has an affiliate program.
Our goal is to explain the strengths, weaknesses, use cases, and limitations of the tools we cover so readers can make their own informed decisions.
A Human Perspective on AI
AI Compare Guide is built around a simple idea: AI should be useful, understandable, and accessible.
I am not interested in making AI sound more complicated than it needs to be. I want to explore what these tools can actually do, where they can help, where they may disappoint, and how ordinary people can use them more effectively.
As AI continues to evolve, AI Compare Guide will continue learning, testing, comparing, and updating its coverage.

The AI landscape is changing quickly, and nobody has every answer. What matters is staying curious, checking the facts, testing where possible, acknowledging limitations, and continuing to learn.
